Make Your Own Rehydrating Sports Drink

Summers in Florida force us to be aware of the importance of replenishing our nutrients.  This simple recipe offers a fast and affordable way to replenish your electrolytes (necessary for proper bodily functions), such as after an intense workout or a few hours sweating by the pool:

1/4 tsp salt (preferably a variety of sea salt)

1/4 tsp baking soda

1 T honey (local unfiltered if possible)

1/2 c Orange juice or similar

Mix in 1 liter of filtered/purified/spring/ simply clean water!
